Frank is a professional performer in the night spots of Palm Springs, California. He finds time during the day, some days, to give music lessons and provide services to other musicians...such as Frank's Drum and Guitar Shop.
This means that if you ask for a quote on an instrument you are seeking to purchase, it may take a day or so to get back to you.
If you are in a hurry, here is a faster, less "colorful" route:
We are no longer affiliated with Musician's Friend;
but feel free to look around. (If you click on their image, they block your route back, so save our address to paste in their window when you are ready to return.)
Listing is free.
We ask only 5% (tax-exempt contribution) from each party
for each transaction.
Compare that with E-bay. (We're not as complicated either.)
If you have had an instrument stolen and would like to get it back
or at least prevent its resale, Click here to report it.
wanted... (Let us know when your transaction is completed so we may remove your notice -- Thanks.)

I have a 1945 set of Ludwig drums with mother of pearl Bass,
Floor Tom, Tom, Snare (Stainless with Gut, Wire, Gut and Wire
or Tom), High Hat, Original symbols (2) and high hat. It also
has a block and Bell. The Base has the additional mounting
bracket and even the original drum chair. The heads are
calf skin and I believe the drum case's are also in tact
and made of elephant skin.
This was the Johnny Ensminger Band (Swing in the 40's, Big band)
out of Providence R.I. There is even a picture of the band with
the set. I would not sell this set to God or any other greater
power. I would love to have an idea about the value.
The only thing with the set is that there is all hardware but
it is pig metal, pitted and a few pieces may be broken. I intend
to leave all pieces in original and would love to know of a source
(if it exists) where people with old kits have spare parts. I may
have to replace some of these and definitely would prefer older
PS DO you sell Cuban Bata Drums? Would you be interested in Bata
or Congas from Cuba. I have a partner in Havana that has access
to these at Cuban prices, handcrafted by master drum makers there.
